Americans Must Choose as Others have Chosen Already

Matthew 10:26 “Therefore do not fear them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.

Let us thank God that He exposes evil at every turn.  Today Americans as well as Germans, Brits and all of Europe are opening their eyes to the aggressive presence of evil in their societies. It is our prayer, our continuing prayer that as we approach this election everything will come out.

Major revelations appear out of the blue of the hearts of people we once thought well of. Individuals are taking sides everywhere.  Multiple movie notables and celebrities solemnly swear to leave the USA if so and so wins. So they are summer soldiers; they take their huge incomes and flee at the first sign of trouble?  We’ve been in trouble a long time now.

It’s like junior high school where the team captains select their players from the sidelines and we see who is on the side of evil, who is picking themselves for good. Media giants are exposed and lawsuits follow, meaning lots of media fun for next year. Silent voters refuse to put up a yard sign or bumper strip for fear of having their car or their lawn trashed. But fear does make some stronger and more determined to fight.

Actors whose movies you waited eagerly to see now don’t seem so nice as they use four letter words to describe the voter, the President, a Senator even God. Well – goodbye to them.

Turmoil is International

Nations in Europe we thought had so much sense let in the devil and his hordes.  Laws that were passed and we assumed being honored are ignored; hospitals must accept some patients but turn them away in violation of the law. Businesses that agreed to support a certain party refuse to pay taxes – lucky them. All now exposed. Thank you Wikileaks.

This interesting phenomenon is described in Romans 1:18,  God Himself is doing this.  The scripture is here:

Romans 1:18 (KJV)  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 

The special Greek middle voice

This sentence has special meaning since the continuing present tense middle voice is used.  Middle voice means this: God continually reveals or uncovers the truth about evil in men’s hearts, evil that they deliberately embrace in opposition to the truth. That certainly describes what is going on. They are without excuse. Furthermore the “middle” voice in Greek means that God is doing this for His own reasons and purposes.  This is not coming about because men are promoting it.

If He is doing this all the time, why have we not noticed until now?  Maybe we have and just didn’t think it was so urgent, but now the evil around us and in political systems has come to critical mass.  We cannot avoid anymore what we are seeing both in our nation and in others.

This is God’s doing and it is marvelous in our sight.

Habakkuk 1:5-11 MSG “Look around at the godless nations. Look long and hard. Brace yourself for a shock. Something’s about to take place and you’re going to find it hard to believe. I’m about to raise up Babylonians to punish you, Babylonians, fierce and ferocious— World-conquering Babylon, grabbing up nations right and left, A dreadful and terrible people, making up its own rules as it goes. Their horses run like the wind, attack like bloodthirsty wolves. A stampede of galloping horses thunders out of nowhere. They descend like vultures circling in on carrion. They’re out to kill. Death is on their minds. They collect victims like squirrels gathering nuts. They mock kings, poke fun at generals, Spit on forts, and leave them in the dust. They’ll all be blown away by the wind. Brazen in sin, they call strength their god.”

OK God. Please consider we Americans as punished!
