Will My Baby be in Heaven?

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

It doesn’t make any difference whether the baby miscarried or was aborted, yes, you will see him or her in heaven.

There is a passage in the Bible involving David, King of the Jews. It describes a scene where David realizes that the little boy baby he lost will be on the heaven side for him to rejoin at some point in the future. David’s son was sick so he fasted and prayed for his healing, but then David heard the servants whispering.

19 He asked the servants, “Is the boy dead?”
“Yes,” they answered. “He’s dead.”
20 David got up from the floor, washed his face and combed his hair, put on a fresh change of clothes, then went into the sanctuary and worshiped. Then he came home and asked for something to eat. They set it before him and he ate.
21 His servants asked him, “What’s going on with you? While the child was alive you fasted and wept and stayed up all night. Now that he’s dead, you get up and eat.”
22-23 “While the child was alive,” he said, “I fasted and wept, thinking God might have mercy on me and the child would live. But now that he’s dead, why fast? Can I bring him back now? I can go to him, but he can’t come to me.”

Whoever you are you can know that you too will be able to go to him or her after you die and go to heaven. But for now you have a life to live for Christ, ask him to remove all pain, unforgiveness and regrets, and, like David, move on with your life. That is what God is all about.

For a popular book that tells a similar story, read Heaven is For Real by Colton Burpo. There is also a recent movie with this title.

The only question you have now, is will you to be heaven?

But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
