16 <\/span>1-2 <\/sup>Jesus said to his disciples, \u201cThere was once a rich man who had a manager. He got reports that the manager had been taking advantage of his position by running up huge personal expenses. So he called him in and said, \u2018What\u2019s this I hear about you? You\u2019re fired. And I want a complete audit of your books.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3-4 <\/sup>\u201cThe manager said to himself, \u2018What am I going to do? I\u2019ve lost my job as manager. I\u2019m not strong enough for a laboring job, and I\u2019m too proud to beg. . . . Ah, I\u2019ve got a plan. Here\u2019s what I\u2019ll do . . . then when I\u2019m turned out into the street, people will take me into their houses.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n


5 <\/sup>\u201cThen he went at it. One after another, he called in the people who were in debt to his master. He said to the first, \u2018How much do you owe my master?\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

8-9 <\/sup>\u201cNow here\u2019s a surprise: The master praised the crooked manager! And why? Because he knew how to look after himself. Streetwise people are smarter in this regard than law-abiding citizens. They are on constant alert, looking for angles, surviving by their wits. I want you to be smart in the same way\u2014but for what is right<\/i>\u2014using every adversity to stimulate you to creative survival, to concentrate your attention on the bare essentials, so you\u2019ll live, really live, and not complacently just get by on good behavior.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n


President Obama had waning popularity, his regime was coming to an end, and his policies and programs were failing from Obamacare to economic recovery.  He prepared a comfortable place for himself with his fellow Muslims.  Jesus praised the craftiness of men who are smart for their own benefit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We as Christians are to be as crafty and productive in terms of the Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
