Most of the time I believe we hear the wrong answer.<\/p>\n<h5>Different Levels of Faith<\/h5>\n<p>God&#8217;s playing field is made level by Him asking us to live at the level of faith given to us.\u00a0 And it is different for everyone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Romans 12:3\u00a0CEV\u00a0I realize how kind God has been to me, and so I tell each of you not to think you are better than you really are. Use good sense and measure yourself by the amount of faith that God has given you.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Yes, all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.\u00a0 That is a given for the sweep of humanity.\u00a0 But we are not judged on every point &#8211; only on those we learn about.\u00a0 It means that the woman living in a harem somewhere in Egypt, protected and kept from the world and information is a person judged by an entirely different standard than the college student in New York City, or the farm worker in Yemen.<\/p>\n<p>Not everything God ever said applies to you and your life. He made new eyeballs for the blind man, but not for the rich man. He required a statement of faith from the Syrophoenician woman but not from the centurion. Lazarus he raised from the dead, but not the rest of the dead at that time.\u00a0 Jesus has different strokes for different folks.<\/p>\n<h4>Obedience is the Standard<\/h4>\n<p>Obedience to the revealed will of God is the standard by which each of us is ultimately judged. How can He do this?\u00a0God is not unfair. If you have little information and little faith that is what you are expected to utilize in your search for God. To whom more is given, more is expected.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Luke 12:48\u00a0TLB\u00a0\u201cBut anyone who is not aware that he is doing wrong will be punished only\u00a0lightly. Much is required from those to whom much is given, for their responsibility is greater.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Some guy on radio said that God does not put people in categories, so I, being challenged, went to the Bible.<\/p>\n<h5>God has a large group of categories.<\/h5>\n<table width=\"235\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"105\">called<\/td>\n<td width=\"130\">disciples<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>chosen<\/td>\n<td>friends<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>faithful<\/td>\n<td>servants<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>little children<\/td>\n<td>virgins with oil<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>fathers<\/td>\n<td>virgins without oil<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>young men<\/td>\n<td>bride<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>wicked<\/td>\n<td>born again<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>willfully ignorant<\/td>\n<td>royal priesthood<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>covenanters<\/td>\n<td>chosen generation<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>cursed<\/td>\n<td>men pleasers<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>beloved<\/td>\n<td>crucified with Christ<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>mother in Israel<\/td>\n<td>reconcilers<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>counselors<\/td>\n<td>prophets<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>overcomers<\/td>\n<td>slaves<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>nursing fathers<\/td>\n<td>deluded<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>poor<\/td>\n<td>fools<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>apostles<\/td>\n<td>helpers<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>evangelists<\/td>\n<td>watchmen<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>teachers<\/td>\n<td>lost<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>masters<\/td>\n<td>chosen people<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h5>Why do we need to know this?<\/h5>\n<p>God has called us to grow.\u00a0 Paul said we are to move from glory to glory. (2 Corinthians 3:18) There is no static position for the Christian, or for that matter the non-Christian as well.\u00a0 Life is a test, and where we go after we die, and how we exist now depends entirely on the progress we make in this life towards understanding ourselves and our relationship to God.<br \/>For example, the book of 1st John speaks of little children, young men and fathers.\u00a0 These are three groups of warriors &#8230;\u00a0 those who have been called to fight the good fight against their own sinful nature and then as missionaries of the Kingdom taking on the devil and ever present evil in the world. It does not necessarily apply to you right now &#8211; although that may be your later call.<\/p>\n<h5>Christianity is not passive.<\/h5>\n<p>Christianity is proactive and risk-taking. There is no prolonged languishing in church to sit, soak and sour while the preacher does all your spiritual work for you.\u00a0 No wonder ministers break down.\u00a01,500 leave the ministry every week.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pastoralcareinc.com\/statistics\">http:\/\/www.pastoralcareinc.com\/statistics<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Good mental health requires you to change as time and circumstance change.
