Germany didn’t find out until too late they’d been lied to, nor Russia when the communists took over in 1917, nor the Chinese in 1939 when Mao engineered the death of 30 million after a war with Japan had already cost them 40 million, Italians did not know Mussolini was a fraud until their land of precious statutes and archaeological history was decimated, and Venezuela today has lost the middle class who fled to neighboring nations because progressive economic policies failed. Even England believed patronizing leaders despite Winston Churchill’s loud warnings about Hitler.
Will America survive the steady blanket of lies about everything Trump, and also everything Obama, whose promises to foreign leaders about massive changes in America could encourage them in their onslaught against our nation? And what will happen when nice folks, many of my friends and neighbors on facebook realize they have been lied to over and over for decades?
I was lucky. I learned history early, often, and correctly. Today’s voters are clueless about how deceived they have been and militant in their ignorance. And the poor blacks, who deserve better! They have thugs trashing liberal cities in their name and giving them one more public black eye.
My governor has made this a Police State. I can’t assemble, though guaranteed by the First Amendment, I can only go to church with limited numbers of people. I can only do what he says. He thinks he has the power to do this. Do I bolt my door now?
I think that’s what God would think.
