What one Question God will ask You on Judgment Day

I confess. Billy Graham said this and I can’t take credit.
Here is the question.

Did you obey my Son?

Why is this question interesting? Because people think the question is going to be -“How much good did you do? Did you go to church? Were you baptized? Did you pay your tithe faithfully?”

How do we know these are not the questions? First, we have the testimony of the good thief on the cross. Yahshua said that he would be with him that very day in paradise. The thief had no opportunity to do anything good, he was not baptized, he paid no tithe, he never left the cross to be baptized. He was accepted for only one thing – his public affirmation of Yahshua as Lord.

Luke 23:43
And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

Who told this man that Yahshua had a Kingdom? Apparently no one did. Why would he think that this crucified man was going to be alive after death? There was no reason to believe that. He simply acknowledged his own sin, said to the other thief that they deserved punishment, and that he wanted to join Jesus wherever He was going.

How easy is that? We make salvation so hard for ourselves and others.
In Romans we are told,

Romans 10:9 if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

And what about people who don’t have that information? I will take that up another day.
